The Wickford Wildlife Society is a local group that offers the chance to see indoor wildlife presentations on a wide variety of topics and visit some of the excellent nature reserves for which Essex is famous.
During the autumn and winter months, indoor meetings are held locally in the St Andrews Church Hall, 11 London Road, Wickford, Essex. SS12 0AN, on the second Wednesday of every month. Outdoor meetings mainly take place during the spring and summer months.
The society also manages a local nature reserve at Crowsheath Wood, on behalf of the Essex Wildlife Trust.
Full details of the society and their programme can be found on the Wickford Wildlife Society web site. We encourage SEAL members to take a look.
This post is part of an initiative we are running to make connections with other groups in our local area. We hope to share ideas and let our members know of other activties they might like to try.
