Meeting Report: 11th February 2011

Members discussed the latest Mac and Apple news including the launch of The Daily, an iPad newspaper and the Verizon iPhone.

Printed business cards, designed at the last meeting, were distributed to members.

Robert demonstrated the latest beta of Firefox 4 which features a redesigned user interface, powerful tab organisation options and many behind the scenes improvements.

During our workshop Alan had a problem with iTunes not recognising the track names on a custom CD he had burnt on another Mac. As Alan had included CD Text we found a useful Applescript from Doug’s Applescripts which populates the tracks in iTunes from the CD Text on the disc.
