Robert and David gave a presentation showing two uses for the audio recording program Wiretap Studio which was included in the recent Mac Heist 3 bundle.

Robert showed how the Recording Sessions feature can be used to set up scheduled recordings of Internet radio broadcasts.

Dave then demonstrated recording albums from a Mini Disc player and then splitting and editing tracks using the built-in editor for export into iTunes.

Also at this meeting Malcolm described a somewhat hidden feature of MobileMe which allows you to make the contents of your iDisk available off-line and automatically sync changes when you later connect. The process is described in the Apple support article Creating a copy of your iDisk. Darren told us about Burn, a useful free DVD and CD burning program.

As an aside, several members mentioned how much they enjoyed watching (and listening to) the talks on all manner of topics found at ted.com.
