Nigel started the meeting with a demonstration of Apple’s recently released Safari 4 beta showing the new features including “Top Sites”, full-text history search, cover flow (for bookmarks and history) and the new tab design.
We then went on the discuss Apple’s recent announcements and releases, the iPod Shuffle 3G and updates to the iMac, Mac mini and Mac Pro.
Mick had received a replacement for his faulty Mac Book Pro (see February’s meeting report) and SEAL’s old Amiga hands helped him install the Amiga emulator E-UAE including an Intel native build and the HiToro GUI. The end result was impressive, running very fast and looking great on the Mac Book Pro’s high resolution screen.
